A powerful tool requires clear boundaries. AI systems must never rely on manipulation, deception, or opaque tactics to achieve results. This clause makes every team member personally responsible for maintaining ethical AI practices.
Model Clause: Prohibited AI Practices
The Organisation mandates that AI systems be deployed solely as decision-support tools. To prevent the distortion of executive decision-making, all AI-derived insights must be disclosed and stress-tested. sage must not facilitate obfuscated data-processing or result in the involuntary steering of stakeholder behaviour. All personnel are strictly accountable for the validation of machine-generated outputs and must immediately report any systemic drift or high-variance anomalies that threaten operational integrity.
Why is this clause so important?
Employees often test unauthorized "shadow AI" to speed up their work. This clause directly bans using AI to generate fake legal citations or manipulate opposing counsel, making the individual user personally liable for the bot's behaviour.
